So here I am!
I am thinking of something clever to write as my first blog post, but my mind is drawing a blank. So I will just start by introducing myself for any of you interested to know the “Sony” behind “Sony: Unplugged”.
Who Am I?
Hello, I am Sony, and yes, I am pretty sure the Japanese company stole my name.😉
I was born in India and then royally exported to the UK for my IT brain.😇 I was born in one God’s own country in India called Kerala. Now I live in another God’s own country in England called Yorkshire.
I am married to the love of my life – Mr Logan😍 since 2 years and 5 months. No children, no pets, yet – you never know when all that will change.
I love travelling and have visited over 20 countries across 6 continents so far. 🌍I also enjoy long drives with Mr Logan. Well… he does most of the driving. I like sitting next to him, listening to some good music, watching the landscapes float by and, you know, the usual things passenger-seaters do.
I love watching crime thrillers and police or legal dramas and enjoy reading a fast-paced crime thriller every so often. At the time of writing this post, I am reading The Last Precinct by Patricia Cornwell.
I was born into a Christian family and although I have a lot of theological questions I consider myself an aspiring Christian.✝️ I am more spiritual than I am religious. I am still navigating my way through the Bible trying to understand how best I can strengthen my relationship with Father Yehowah (my version of God).
Did you wonder like my friend what Unplugged meant? Unplugged means more low-key and intimate context than usual.
My main website SonySimon.com is more about personal development, travelling and web development. But on Sony Unplugged, my intention is to just be me. For a very opinionated person like me, I also wanted a platform to do more than just knowledge sharing, and this is that place for me.
This blog has no rules. No posting schedules. No spell checking. No SEO promoting. Just my uncensored scribbles, which I think will work fine, because I don’t swear or use vulgar language anyway! I am sure I may upset a few grammar nazis, English teachers and social marketers, but I am hoping I will make some blogging friends too.
If you have any questions for me that I have not already answered, ask! I have also included a contact form below so you can get in touch with me in private.
